Lama Jampa Thaye (born in England in 1952) is a scholar and meditation master trained in the Sakya traditions of Buddhism by His Holiness 41st Sakya Trizin Ngawang Kunga, Karma Thinley Rinpoche and Kagyu traditions from His Holiness XVII Gwayla Karmapa Thaye Dorje and other eminent Tibetan masters. He holds a PhD from the University of Manchester for his work on Tibetan religious history. He lives in London with his family and maintains a busy annual program of teachings for Dechen and other international Buddhist organisations.
