Khyenkong Karma Kagyu in Warsaw is a meditation centre of His Eminence Beru Khyentse Rinpoche and His Eminence Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche. The centre provides space for Buddhist meditation and study under the guidance of our masters. Our goal is to spread the Buddha Dharma, especially the precious transmission of the Karma Kagyu lineage in order to benefit many beings.
The meaning of this symbol refers to a prediction made by the 5th Karmapa Deshin Shekpa about the coming of two enlightened masters in the future. Karmapa said: „Two individuals who resemble the sun and the moon will appear at the same time. Their names will have the initials of Ka or ཀ (Jamgon Kongtrul Lodro Thaye) and Kha ཁ (Jamyang Khyenste Wangpo). And those associated with them, will not return (to samsara).”
So ཀ represents Kongtrul and ཁ represents Khyentse.

The 2nd Beru Khyentse Rinpoche is one of the most important lamas and holders of the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. He was recognised by the 16th Karmapa Rangjung Rigpe Dorje in 1955 as the incarnation and emanation of the mind of Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo – one of the most important teachers and visionaries of Buddhism in Tibetan history. Through his dedication to the Dharma and his work in preserving the teachings, Rinpoche continues to inspire generations of practitioners worldwide. His life journey, marked by exile, resilience, and teaching activity, serves as a beacon of enlightenment for all who encounter his legacy.

The 4th Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche is a contemporary Tibetan Buddhist master and lineage holder of the Karma Kagyu School of Tibetan Buddhism. Born in Nepal, Rinpoche received traditional Tibetan education and completed a traditional three-year retreat. Dividing his time between personal retreat, overseeing his monastery, and spreading the Dharma, Rinpoche is a teacher to disciples and students all over the world.
