Khenpo Chochok
Five Aggregates and the Four Foundations of Mindfulness

On 28th August, Khenpo will explain the teachings on the Five Aggregates (Skt. pañcaskandha), through which Buddhism describes our mental and physical existence: form, feeling, perception, mental formations, and consciousness.

On 29th to 30th August, we will explore the Four Foundations of Mindfulness (Skt. smṛtyupasthāna), a classical Buddhist meditation practice described, among other sources, in the Satipaṭṭhāna Sutta. Mindfulness is cultivated with regard to four objects: the body, feelings, mind, and phenomena. This weekend will combine both theoretical teachings and meditation practice.
